Last week was half-term break for the boys. We were pretty much stuck inside on Tuesday and Wednesday with lousy weather, so when it turned on Thursday we packed up a lunch and took the bus to the North Sea. Seaham was one of the first places we visited when we moved here to Durham. It was nice to go back. It is a rocky beach, but since the boys really like rocks it's the perfect place for them -- water and rocks. We ate our packed lunch and then just sat on the beach and watched the boys play for a few hours. It was so nice to be out in the sun. Here's a few pics of our afternoon.

Sun and COLD water, what a great combination. I love the sunglasses on the head look; the two fisted thrower - gotta admire that; and the muscle shirt on the big guy. What fun!
Did I detect a bit of gray in the chin whiskers? Ben's, not yours! :)
Thanks for the great pics!
