Grammy Time: Belsay

Unfortunately, Grammy pretty much only saw the inside of our old house and the inside of our new house for the majority of her trip over to England this time. We were able to get out for a few days before she left though. We were blessed with a really lovely day at Belsay Hall and Gardens. We've been here several times as a family...it's a family favorite and we knew Grammy would love the gardens.

So many beautiful flowers in bloom...we went at a perfect time of the year.




Ben thinks I could easily join this society if I wanted.

We stopped to watch some guys playing croquet on one of the garden lawns.

Ben told the boys to act like they like each other.

Then he told them to act like they don't. (This one seems more convincing!)

I love every bit of this place.

A good reminder to Grammy...no plants going back on the plane to her garden in Oregon. ;)
