Heather and boys on top of Blarney Castle...waiting to kiss the stone. This is where my germaphobia was actually taking over the fear of heights. Do I want to kiss something that millions of others have laid their lips upon???
I decided it was one of those once in a lifetime opportunities.
Ben kissed it, too. Elam did, as well, but my camera didn't get the shot. We bought one of him that they automatically take and print for you in the gift shop when you reach the bottom of the castle. It's in a box somewhere...will have to scan it in when I find it!

I have to ask...why do you have to kiss it upside down?
Honestly, I'm not sure there'd be another way to reach it for a smooch. You are pretty much dangling over an open drop to the ground below (they have put a few bars there for some safety).
