E's Scuba Mask = Dumbo's Magic Feather

So do you remember Dumbo's magic feather -- the "powersource" behind his ability to fly? Dumbo wouldn't believe he could fly without it. Apparently Elam is the same way with his scuba mask that he ALWAYS wears to swim. We were playing in the pool the other day before swim lessons started and E went under with his mask on top of his head. He absolutely freaked out -- I had to reach my hand out to get him because he was acting like he couldn't swim at all. We went to purchase some great goggles this weekend so that he can still see in the pool but learn to blow out of his nose when he swims and use his nose to breathe when he treads water. We'll see if he can manage without his "magic feather" tomorrow.

Not sure how I managed to just get a picture of Silas with Elam's new goggles. He loves eyewear! I may have to go get another pair for him.
