Yorkshire Pudding

To start identifying with the English culture, I decided to attempt Yorkshire pudding last night. From the picture you can tell that it is not at all pudding as we think about it -- it is more a type of bread. A friend from Scotland sent the recipe home with Ben after his visit in February. Ben said they looked "right" (like Sadie's did) when I took them out of the oven. When I tasted them, I started laughing and told Ben that my mom used to make those when I was young except that she called them Dutchbabies and cooked them in a bigger dish rather than a muffin tin. We used to eat them for breakfast with strawberries and powdered sugar. Although they were good with our steak, potatoes, and fruit last night, I would definitely vote for the sweet version of them.
