Today

*Silas woke up with an earache...but never complained of it the rest of the day. We'll see what the night holds.

*We had to take our jack-o-lanterns outside. They died an early death. All I could smell was pumpkin...and not the nice pumpkin-spice-Thanksgiving pumpkin smell. It stinks (literally and figuratively, I suppose) that they didn't even make it 6 days to Halloween. We had our 2nd annual pumpkin carving session with the Hills last Saturday. *We measured Elam today -- 137.5 cm. He's grown 3 cm (1 1/8 in.) in 3 months. He has been outgrown nearly all his clothes. It's not so noticeable when he's wearing a school uniform most days. We realized that most of his stuff didn't fit when he had to wear 'normal' clothes this week...he ran out of things that did. Poor kid. We went to Tesco today and bought him a new pair of jeans and a long sleeved tee. He still needs a coat but he didn't particularly like any of them there.

* I shopped online at Tesco.com. Delivery is tomorrow 12-2. No need to do a big grocery shop with 2 kids in tow when they can bring it to my door. :)
