Haircuts

We spent MUCH of the afternoon at Cool Cuts for Kids waiting to get haircuts for the boys. Elam was in desperate need of one...when he wakes up in the morning and has "bed head", you know it is time to take him in. He now tells the lady how he wants it..."4 on the top, 2 on the sides, and no sideburns." Then he usually gets a little bit of colored gel in his hair. Unfortunately that is against the school dress code, so this time he had to get clear.

Silas was completely into playing with their Thomas the train playset as we were waiting and then threw a fit when it was time for his haircut. Incidentally, we went for his 2 year check up* today and he did better getting his shot than getting his haircut! We decided to do the razor on the back like his big brother. Ugghhh! He is definitely a little boy now -- no more baby there!

* Silas is now 31 lbs (80%) and 36 inches (90%).
