First Day

Monday was my first day at Tesco. It went well. For someone that likes to be organized, this is a perfect job. The computers they have are amazing...it tells you exactly which aisle, shelf, position each product is in. It also takes you around the store in a very methodical way -- my kind of shopping! I did well for my first day...even though I was operating in the "red"...since everything is done via the computer, it also tells you how fast you should be "picking" the products. So my pick rate is low at the minute but I'm sure once I am there for a few weeks, have the aisle numbers memorized, and a good feel for where most of the products are, I'll move up my pace.
