Movie Night dinner

I had seen this idea on someone's blog months ago (I feel terrible that I can't remember where and give any credit). So, I decided to try it out on our Movie Night last week. Ben stays at the 'office' late on Thursdays so that he can work on extra things like book reviews, work for Tom Wright, finishing up a peripheral paper, etc. So, months ago we made Thursdays Movie Night. This dinner was definitely a hit because it was perfect for eating in front of the movie.

The idea is to just place various small amounts of finger foods in a muffin tin...little bits of lots of things. Shown below (left to right from the top): tangerine, crackers, dried tropical fruit, chocolate animal biscuits, hot dogs, raisins, cheddar cheese cubes, toothpicks, carrot wheels, apple, pretzels, and craisins.

Boys enjoying their dinner while still 'glued' to the movie. :)

Hors d'ouerves training...very clever...Reminds me of the Jolly Postman with his little sausages on toothpicks...;)

Uhm....we have "movie night" every night! Or so it seems. Alice does let me use a plate and untensils, so maybe that doesn't qualify. Since it's my favorite, I find it hard to Macaroni and cheese with my fingers! :)

Really...What a great idea, I think we have a few folks that could use it.

Also loved the fort idea and the conversations.

Love to all!!!

since you don't have rotel can you do diced tomatoes and green chilies? I'm sure there are other flavors in there but that is the base right?
