So I'm a bit disgusted...well more than a bit. Durham folk aren't very good at cleaning up after their dogs. Remember this post? If you read through that you'll remember that since our front gardens are fenced in, there is poo all over the sidewalks. That's bad enough...bit it actually gets worse! Yesterday morning E opened the front door to go to a friend's house and came to report that we should all watch out when we go out the front door. Literally right out of our front door (maybe 1 foot) was a nice deposit. Yes, someone actually allowed their dog to come in our gate and poo at our doorstep. Seriously...that's too much!

ugh. and i thought when a stray dog poos in my yard, it was reason to be upset. I'm thankful not to have found that kind of gift on my front doorstep.
oh, and I have to tell you ... I've made 3 chocolate chip pies since you posted your recipe. Weird but the 2nd two turned out much fuller than the first ... maybe I didn't let the eggs get fluffy enough. Doug loves it since it has walnuts ... I made the 2nd two for meals for other people... definitely an easy but yummy dessert to make for someone else.
Yuck. And I was complaining the other day about poop on the sidewalk while I was out for a walk. There's even grass available.
I still can't believe they let the dog go into your gated area. Seriously!

Poo in the yard. Poo on the steps. Well poo on them, whoever it was. Perhaps it was an early Halloween prank and they forgot the paper sack, the matches, and the ringing of the doorbell!
That is bad. All the more reason we bring baggies along with us when we take Eli for a walk. You just never know when your dog, or the kiddo may holler -- I gotta POO!!!!
