No wonder she couldn't believe her eyes
When my mom was here visiting she kept telling the boys she couldn't believe how big they looked. We finally decided to measure them -- we measure them on the door to our utility area. Turns out Silas has grown 3 1/2 inches over the past year and Elam has grown 3 3/4 inches. Wow! Elam is now up to my shoulder (at only 7 years old!). I think they'll both be shooting up past me in no time.

Oh my goodness. I didn't realize kids could grow that fast! How do their pants stay long enough?
Caleb is up past my chin now. I never thought my kids would be taller than me before they were 10, but I think that's what happens when you're only 5'2".
They both just 'graduated' up to the next size in school uniform sweatshirts because I could see E's wrists and Sy's belly all the time. :)
I'm with you Jennifer...I'm only 5'3". I always hoped they would get their height from their Dad...looks like that will be the case.
