So, if you are a parent of young boys you've probably heard a thing or two about Ben 10. My kiddos are totally into this at the moment...both of them. A few months ago Silas was desperate to get the omnitrix. His loving brother (that realized he might get some action with this watch that turns you into aliens) decided to give Sy some of his allowance to help him buy it. Seriously, that was the best £12 ever spent on a toy in this house. It is used daily...and has been for months.
The other day Sy came out of nursery and exclaimed that his best buddy had a new Ben 10 cap. Oh dear! He declared that he MUST have one. He lucked out that I had a coupon to Tesco towards children's clothes, so we went over that day to have a look. Well, Tesco didn't have caps but they had t-shirts. Silas thought it was great...he told me that the shirt was better because his Ben 10 would be this big (holding hands far apart) and not just this big (holding them very close together) like on his friend's cap. Surely he's still got Texas blood running through those veins when he decided that bigger definitely means better. :)
***Don't fret, E got a t-shirt too. :)
