A few recent things that have made me smile from my second kiddo:
- The other day while we were waiting for the bus, Silas started counting. He counted and kept counting...and continued as we got on the bus. He only left out a few numbers out of the 200 he counted -- or 'one hundred one hundred' as he likes to say.
- He told his brother tonight all about what he does when he's at school -- 'I play, have snack, wash my hands, and do activities.'
- Today we played a game at lunch -- think of all the words we can that start with w. You should have seen the smile on his face as we thought of more and more...and then when one would sneek up in our regular conversation. His eyes would light up and he'd say, 'Awww! That starts with w too!!!'

Remind him of Grammy's favorite "w" song from Sesame Street when you kids were young -- Without a "w" a waffle would be awful(affle)...let's hear it for wuh, wuh, wuh, wuh! -- Would love to see his grin on that one...love, grammy
Well, what a wonderful way to wrangle words into a wistful memory.
Give them boys a hug for us.
