And some pics...

I love this kid! E came home yesterday with another set of good behavior points. He'll be receiving his Silver Certificate at school tomorrow and I have no doubt that he's already looking forward to working for his gold one.

Here's another pic of our sleeping champ. One evening at dinner I turned my head to talk to Elam for 2 minutes and when I looked back Silas had disappeared from the table and was on the floor next to his chair. He was totally out...I had to wipe pasta sauce from his mouth and he didn't move at all.

We got a great package in the mail from Grandpa Norm and Grandma Alice...full of 4th of July goodies and Twizzlers!

Check out the Statue of Liberty sunglasses...

...and look at these fun feet. They'll be set for our 4th party that we're having tomorrow.

The boys and I went to Aldi last week in search for the promised American goodies that were advertised. We found Reeses Peanut Butter cups, Reeses Nutrageous bars, and American Jelly Beans (very much like Jelly Bellies in our boys' estimation). I'm going to try a recipe I found for a Reeses cake for the 4th party tomorrow.

I have been asked to do facepainting at the boys' school fair next week. I was able to practice on Silas and 2 of his nursery friends. I need a little more practice...maybe Elam and Silas will get a new face each day after school. :)

So that's just a bit of what's been going on here. The boys also passed their karate grading and received their orange belts (pics of that still to come.)

The pictures, videos and stories are wonderful. It is always good, even though I'm sure it takes you a great deal of time, to see them and hear their voices.

Congrats to Elam on his "conduct" scores. That must definitely be a mom trait. And Silas' singing shows great potential.

It is interesting, when you look at Elam's expressions during the robot dance, he looks a lot like his uncle.

Thanks for all your efforts.

LOVE TO ALL and HAPPY 4th
