Birthday bash
E and his friend Daniel had a joint birthday party. There are five boys that tend to hang out at school together and so we thought we'd just make a dual party with them since Elam and Daniel's birthdays are less than 2 weeks apart. The boys came to our house for a movie-watching party -- hotdogs and munchies in front of Garfield 2: Tale of Two Kitties. Then we gave E and Daniel super soaker water guns and so all the boys headed to the back garden for a water fight. Fun times!

Scotland Yard looks like fun. What is it about? More importantly, can you buy it online?
Yeah, Scotland Yard used to be one of my favorite games as a kid...I didn't realize then that it was on the German Game of Year list (games we all love now...Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, etc). When I was reminded of it, I thought it would be fun to get for Elam.
It's a detectives vs. Mr. X (the bad guy) race. Mr. X (one player) moves secretly around the board revealing his position at certain points and the rest of the players (detectives) are trying to chase him down.
I got ours on Amazon.co.uk but I'm sure Amazon.com would have it too.
