Inverness -- on the river and heading home

We finished up day 3 with a walk along the River Ness through the centre of town...and a Chinese food buffet. :) The boys also enjoyed running through a little park opposite the river from Inverness Castle.

We headed home early the next day on the train. We really thought the views of the Scottish Highlands were fabulous -- snow capped mountains and deer running alongside the train. As a family, train travel is pretty great -- the kids aren't strapped in car seats, no one gets car sick, and you can get up to walk around or use the toilet when you want. :) We sat around a table and played Uno and Phase 10 for most of the 5 hour trek home. Good times!
