Thanksgiving in England

Thanksgiving flew a bit under the radar this year, possibly since I wasn't planning the huge feast at our house this time. Thanks to the green chilies and Velveeta that came home in Ben's suitcase, we had a Mexican feast on Thanksgiving night complete with queso. So nice!

We joined the other Americans in town for more traditional fare on Saturday night. The food was SO good. I think it's fair to say that when you have a potluck like that, people tend to bring a traditional dish that they do really well. The sweet potato casserole was a favorite for all...I got the recipe from a friend so I can give that a go at Christmas.

Yum!

The kids' corner -- kinda like the kids' table, I guess.
