Looking for a house

A another student at Durham is going to look at a potential house for us this Thursday. It's 3 bdrm, "furnished", and relatively near the school (about a mile or two away). But we've not seen any pictures, and we're not sure about the price since the owner said it's "negotiable". Fortunately, the guy looking at it for us seems to be very helpful (e.g., he set up the appointment < 1 day after I sent the email to look at the place for us. ) It would be nice to get this settled, but there does seem to be a ready supply of other houses "to let" around the area.
