American friends

We definitely didn't come to England to stay in our own American huddle in a different country. And as much as we've enjoyed meeting and developing relationships with international families, there's something very cozy and familiar about hanging out with American friends. We have one set of friends that live in our complex right behind our house -- they are from Arkansas, he's studying in the Theology department here, and they have a 2 year old daughter that Silas absolutely adores. They are heading back over the pond for 4 months -- *sniff, sniff* -- to do a short study at Duke. They'll be missed! Here's a few pics of our kiddos together and despite how it looks in the pictures, Regin adores Silas too.

Such cute pictures of all the kids. That is the hardest part of life in these transitional communities! But friendships are so worth the sniffles :).
