Wow! Time to post pics of our life back in England now. On Sunday after we returned to Durham, we went to Crook Hall for a family day out. It's amazing that we've lived in Durham for 2 years and just now went to check this place out. It has beautiful gardens and the hall is supposedly haunted by the White Lady. We went on Teddy Bear Day which meant that if the boys brought their teddies along (actually a tiger and dog accompanied ours) they would get a free drink at the cafe. There was also a hunt for teddy bears through the various gardens with a reward at the end if they found them all. We had beautiful weather that day and it made for a fabulous family day out. Ben and I also decided to try cream tea for the first time -- that involves tea or coffee accompanied by a scone with jam and clotted cream. It was VERY good!

Oh my...there's no place like "home" even if it is just temporary!
It was interesting, no glaring Columbia River Desert sun in the background of any of these pics!
