Aberdeen

Finishing my second day in Aberdeen. I've spent most of my two days in Joey's office and talking with other students. Almost all the divinity PhD students are from the US, which is a bit less appealing to me about the school here. I met with Simon Gathercole this afternoon. He talked with me almost as though I had been accepted, giving me direction about how to further pursue my thesis topic. However, I asked him about financial aid, and he essentially said that there wouldn't be any. But prospects for that look much better at Durham. It's been a pretty informative trip so far.

Joey and Sadie have 1 girl and 3 boys: Maddie (6), Kinnen (5), Aiden (3), and Iain (4 mo.). Aiden reminds me a lot about Silas, and he's definitely the life of the party. Their kids are very well behaved and play well together.
