Our Weekend

We had a full weekend. Yesterday, we visited the family from New Zealand for lunch. He is in his final year of the same program that Ben will be starting. They have 2 boys (3 and 5) and a baby girl. Today we had tea with Elam's best buddy from school and his family -- the husband is from Germany and the wife from Scotland. They have 2 boys (4 and 6). It has been nice to get to know people that are from other cultures but have settled in to Durham life very well. It is encouraging!

We also had our 2nd trip to the library here. The boys each have their own library card and enjoy being able to check out books and DVDs. We did have to buy a new DVD player from Tesco as UK DVDs (and Playstation games, for that matter) don't play on our American Playstation. Fortunately, Tesco had one for only 17 GBP.
