New Friends

Elam and Silas have made some new neighborhood friends -- a boy, Kieran (age 6) and his sister, Bethany (age 9). Last week when the boys were out riding bikes in a courtyard behind our house, Kieran and Bethany came out to play. They all became friends very quickly as I don't think there are many other kids in our "estate". Kieran and Bethany are over here all the time now... in our back garden and at our house. I had told Elam when he met them to not even ask to go over to their house until Ben and I had met their parents. Well...it looks as if E will not be going in the near future because we still haven't met the parents -- we wouldn't even know them if they passed us on the street. So...until then, we have 2 new faces around our house all the time. They are sweet kids and very polite so there aren't any complaints from us. Ben mowed our back garden for the first time yesterday and Kieran came out to pick up extra bits of grass while Elam and Bethany were playing Playstation -- it was too cute.
