It's amazing what you can do in 30 minutes...

with some clippers and scissors. Tonight was 'haircut night' -- I cut all 3 boys' hair. Ben is the easiest now -- clippers with no attachments. Then Elam with #3 on top and #2 on the sides. I get really complicated with Silas, since I actually have to use scissors. Last 'haircut night' Ben tried to get Silas to shave his head like him and Elam. I'm glad I talked him out of it. I love Elam's and Ben's dos, but I'm not sure that I'm ready to shave his little head.

I think you saved yourselves at least $35. Hmmm...sure wish Doug would let me at his hair but too many bad haircuts by his mom as a child forces us to spend good $ on good haircuts. For now, our wiggly worms go to a stylist but soon I will add barber to my job description. HA! And, hopefully I won't provide them with bad memories of mom's haircuts. :)
They look good ... way to go, h!

Wow, I forgot Ben was going bareheaded now! :)

Good job cutting the hair, Heather! I love saving money by doing this!

Ben's roommate from OBU showed me how to use clippers on Ben's hair whenwe got engaged...I've been cutting it ever since. I can imagine that we've saved a small fortune doing that. I did used to take the boys to 'Cool Cuts' in Dallas -- the Disneyland of haircut places. They loved it and I loved being hassle free. But when we moved here and we were back in 'student mode', it just makes sense to cut all of them.

Now I just need to get mine done. :)
