It REALLY helps to actually tidy up the house. I was determined to do that this morning to hopefully run into the lost camera since I felt I had looked absolutely everywhere. Well, it worked...I have the camera in hand. It was laying in our 'catch-all bowl' where we place keys, loose change, etc. It sits on a bookshelf in our dining room. I know I looked at least 5 times all over those shelves last night. As I was straightening things there and tossing old papers in the recycle bin, I spotted it. I am absolutely thrilled!
Hmmmm...I think I may have to be a bit more patient with the boys the next time I ask them to find something, they swear it is no where to be found, and then I find it in the place they said they were looking. :)
So here are the pictures of our Saturday afternoon:
We went to the city centre -- saw a few street performers and had some ice cream -- and then down by the river to watch the boating races. The weather was fabulous and we enjoyed our afternoon out.

YAY! So glad you found your camera; glad, too, that we could see the pics of your outing. A band, hula hoop snacks, vikings, ice cream, a river...who could ask for more (ok, maybe the bus ride home!)
I'm doing a happy dance for you! When I read your "bummed out" post, I just didn't have any words. I'm so very glad you found it.
Oh, and I'm still looking for my keys that disappeared when the whole family was in town over a month ago. I lost them at our house so they have to be here somewhere, huh?
HAllelujah is right! Those pictures are sweet and it would have been sad not to have them! I love the picture of the 4 of them eating ice cream!
