What are the chances

Poor Elam! He loves school so much that he never wants to miss it. Well, since he was sick yesterday (that's sick in British terms -- throw up!) he's not supposed to go to school for 2 days. Today there was a special trip for a few kiddos to go on a Math Quest where they were going to get to dress up like superheroes. If you know anything about E, you know this would be the ULTIMATE field trip...math AND superheroes! So, he was totally bummed about that. But, what are the chances that tomorrow there would be another field trip??? Yep, he has to miss 2 major events! The field trip tomorrow was to meet Michael Rosen, a children's author, to talk about a story that the kiddos in his class have been working on and also have him sign books that they bring. I had ordered 2 of his books from Amazon (here and here but Rosen is best known for his book We're Going on a Bear Hunt). Mo is planning to take the books to E's teacher in the morning so she can get them signed for him. Hopefully that will work out and hopefully he'll recover soon. I just talked to them (I arrived in Berlin a few hours ago) and he is still running a slight fever. No fun!
