Scotland after Christmas -- St. Andrews

The drive over to St. Andrew's was completely rainy but when we arrived, we were blessed with a beautiful morning. It's a small town that houses the UK's oldest university, St. Andrew's golf course, and ruins of a castle and cathedral right on the North Sea coast. The boys really enjoyed exploring the castle. There was a mine and counter-mine that was dug under the castle that you are still able to go into parts of -- what could be cooler than 'crawling' through dank tunnels?
