We got Elam's through a local bike shop. He's getting his riding legs under him and gets up every time he falls. The boys also made a couple of friends yesterday from a house or two down while they were out riding.
In honor of the bike he borrowed from Jeffrey Y. for the past 3 years, Ben got a 20 yr old bike through Ebay. But it has that bling factor--a gold colored chain ring and gold colored wire covers for the breaks and gears. 
Heather is still waiting...hopefully we can get a free one through Freecycle.
