When we visited the Barclay family for lunch last weekend, they let the boys borrow a few books. As we only brought a few and quickly read through the majority of those favorites on the planes and in the airports, these have brought some "newness" to reading time. The boys adore these...especially the Jolly Postman ones. Their Grammy has the original Jolly Postman that they have loved for years and it is fun to read some in the same series.
It was also fun to read English authors now that we are here and we hear some of the different phrases and see some of the different spellings. For example: The jolly postman has a flat tyre in one of the books.

Thanks for sharing these titles... I got one of the postman books from the library. Sam liked it a lot but many of the pocket letters were missing. Burglar Bill is next.
