Annie, the red rabbit

Silas introduced me to his imaginary friend today -- Annie, the red rabbit. I have heard about a rabbit friend a few times but this is the first big conversation and interaction we have had concerning it. "Annie" ate lunch with us. I was cutting up carrot slices for Silas' lunch and he told me that Annie likes her carrots to be big. She sat next to Silas and here he is with Annie's food next to his plate -- he shared one of his chips and a piece of string cheese with her.
This is a new experience for me as a mom. E never had an imaginary friend. I am really not surprised as Silas is definitely our more artsy kiddo -- with art projects, dress up, etc. And now with a new friend. I'll have to keep you posted on how often Annie shows up.

Heather,

Caleb had an imaginary friend named Pedro (very cosmopolitan of him to have an imaginary friend with a Hispanic name, I know). Pedro was with us from age 3 until about 5 1/2. He occasionally went with us on car trips and had to have his own seat belt. No car seat, though.
