Dinner and a show

Fireworks have been going on nearly every night for the last few weeks. Last night was Bonfire Night (or Guy Fawkes Night) here and all the stores sell fireworks and it seems EVERYONE shoots them off -- apparently there are no laws here re: shooting off fireworks in the city limits. Last night we ate dinner by candlelight and watched the fireworks out of our glass doors looking out onto our back garden. It was great! Tonight the police put on a big night with a bonfire, fireworks, rides, food, etc. We're planning to make a night of it and check it out.
