November

The radiators have been turned on... there's an extra blanket on the boys' beds... it was below freezing every night this week... the sun sets before 4.30... it is completely dark by 5... November is here in Durham.

Throw in monsoon like rains / wind...and you have the Oregon coast! It was raining so hard the night we got back over here, one of the gutters came apart and it was a pure waterfall on that corner of the house...

dark at 4:30 --- sheesh! I always wondering how the daylight hours were in foreign lands.
