Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

Living in a foreign country without a car makes life interesting sometimes. Ben flew out of Newcastle Airport which, distance-wise, is as close as DFW was to our home back in North Dallas. To go to the airport in Dallas, you'd simply jump in the car. But in Durham...Ben took a taxi (because the buses weren't running that early) to the Durham train station. He then took the train to Newcastle's Central station where he got on the Metro to go out to the airport.

He's flying Newcastle to London to Chicago to DC. Whew! He'll make it in there at 12.30a our time. He left in the taxi at 6a this morning. I'm sure he'll be glad that he booked his trip for 9 days so he doesn't have to turn around in a few days' time and repeat that process. :)
