Camera, Innkeeper, and Rudolph

It really wouldn't be right if I had actually solved all my camera's issues and got tons of fabulous shots of Sy at his nativity play when I didn't get a single one at Elam's, would it? Apparently my camera "knew" this and decided to help me out with that. When I turned the camera on, I got the "battery exhausted" message (even though I just changed my batteries 2 days ago...I'm hoping it's a bad batch of batteries and not the camera). So, no pics of Silas performing his role as innkeeper at his school's nativity play.* He was sure to tell me that he didn't have any lines..."I just point!" He did quite well even though he was cranky beforehand and there was quite a fuss with the donkey crying, a few angels crying, and possibly a shepherd too. (This was a play put on by kids 6 mos. - 3 yrs). For a job well done, we stopped at a bakery near our house and picked up a Rudolph "biscuit" for Silas and one for Elam for his earlier performance.
*Actually a friend captured a few pics of Silas on her camera. I'll make sure to post when I get them from her.
