Silas is 3 today! Our plans for today as of 11.45p last night were to go to Sticky Fingers (a weekly playgroup) and have all the kids sing Happy Birthday to Silas; go to Elam's school Christmas Fair this afternoon; and have a small get-together at our house tonight.
All those plans changed right before midnight last night when Silas threw-up in his bed...and then again at 2.30a. Poor guy!
So...he opened presents from us and a few grandparents this morning -- that is a build you own Thomas the Tank Engine in the picture. He seems to be in good spirits and feeling much better but he hasn't had breakfast yet...so we'll see.
He will probably get to watch some movies on the couch today while I finish the piles of sheets, blankets, etc. that need to be washed and work on getting the carpet completely clean.
We've rescheduled his party for Sunday evening and I'm going to try to contact the lady that runs Sticky Fingers to see if they will sing to him next week.

The big 3. Well, I hope that you get to feeling better Sy. Just think, you get to have several birthday parties spread out over the week now. LOL.
