for those that have sent lots of wonderful thoughts our way today. Sy ended up having a pretty good day. He was feeling much better...we just didn't want to expose him to other kiddos (for their sake). His friend Regin (and mom Whitney) stopped by to drop off a special cupcake for lunch. He also got a birthday card in our mail slot from some neighbors and a birthday present from his friend Korinth. 
After dinner we celebrated with a cookie (leftovers from making cookies for Elam's school fair) and ice cream. He has a race car cake all picked out for his party which will be on Sunday now.

Happy Birthday to Silas! Sorry to hear that he ended up being sick on his birthday. We sent a card but it will most likely be late arriving. I have no idea how long it takes for mail to get there! We just pulled Kerry's e-card today from the boys. He loved it!
