Merry Christmas!

We have had a wonderful Christmas day. All the grandparents and aunts/uncles outdid themselves...I'm not sure we've ever had this much stuff to open. Towards the end Silas just looked at Elam and said, "You open them, Elam, and I will play with them." The theme for the boys was definitely Disney's Cars and Superheroes. Elam ended up with several Tow Mater things...we joked that people figured he needed something with 2 front teeth since he still doesn't have any. :)

Hope you and yours have a blessed Christmas!

the boys checking out Google's Santa tracker last night...they finally got in bed around 11p when they saw that Santa was over Germany

Elam read the Christmas story from Luke 2 to the family this morning

our new English tradition -- pulling open Christmas Crackers

E in the midst of his present pile

Sy with new Scooby shirt -- Thanks GG!

E with Superman shirt

Grandpa Mack and Grandma Brenda got Silas Batman skates with kneepads and elbow pads -- all his present opening came to a complete stop until he was completely decked out

my superheroes!

we ran out of wrapping paper, so E wrapped my present in paper that he decorated himself

one box of Christmas stuff that was ordered from Amazon is going to arrive late...so we put "clues" in envelopes for Elam to figure out what will be arriving -- those small green papers on the floor along with a magnifying glass led Elam to figure out that he is getting Cluedo Mysteries from Grammy and Ra-Ra

Merry Christmas!

It looks like you've all had a great time. I'm glad you were able to post pictures of the kids with their gifts so that your family could enjoy them. Isn't the Internet a great tool for that?

Yeah, I'm not sure living overseas would be quite so easy without the internet...email, blogging, and VOIPhones help everyone to seem a lot closer.

Hope you all had a nice Christmas together!
