30 seconds of magic

As Silas and I crossed the street to the school yesterday afternoon to pick up Elam, it started to rain. That seems to be a very common occurrence lately...we often come home soaked from drop-off or pick-up time. As soon as E's class emerged from the building the rain turned to snow. I guess it was right at 0 C/32 F as it kept switching from snow to rain and back to snow. But it was the awe and excitement that the kids had as they saw those flakes coming down...it was pure magic!

***BTW, we haven't had snow here yet. We hear it doesn't snow much in this bit of England -- maybe once or twice a year.
