As I was waiting for Silas to be dismissed from his nursery class this morning, I could hear him crying. As he came out he was crying and one of his teachers told me that he had an "accident" at school this morning. They supply extra clothes at school in case of that...but she said that maybe we ought to bring our own because she suspected that it had more to do with putting on other clothes. He cried until we got home and we were really able to talk about it. Apparently he wasn't upset that he had an accident...he was upset that he had to put on boring blue underwear from the school rather than Spiderman underwear. Once he calmed down we gathered a set of his own clothes (including some Spiderman underwear) to take to school tomorrow. Hopefully any future accidents will be taken in stride.

Spiderman underwear (or lack thereof) can lead to a really lousy day

Schools may have their uniforms...but beware! Underneath there lurks an "individualist" -- one with superpowers, no less!
