I saw this on a friend's blog and thought it would be fun to chime in.
Aprons – Y/N? Yes, I have a denim one that I have started to use more frequently...I'm a very messy cook.
Baking – Favorite thing to bake? Chocolate chip oatmeal cookies or these blueberry muffins.
Clothesline – Y/N? Yes...a must in England w/o a proper dryer. I have one in the backyard and one in my utility room.
Donuts – Have you ever made them? Only with my hubby and his friends when we were in college...biscuit dough fried in a fry daddy and then rolled in cinnamon sugar. So good and yet so bad.
Every day – One homemaking thing you do every day? Now that we live in England, it has to be cooking. We only eat out about once a month.
Freezer – Do you have a deep freeze? What? We are lucky to have a normal sized freezer here.
Garbage Disposal – Y/N? No, that's definitely one thing I miss from our condo in Dallas...fishing out all the nasty stuff that clogs the drain is so gross!
Handbook – What is your favorite homemaking resource? My mother! and then probably the internet...I only made it over to the UK with 1 cookbook and a pile of recipes.
Ironing – Love it or hate it? I absolutely hate it! That is the one bonus of hanging all your clothes to dry...they are pretty wrinkle free.
Junk drawer – Y/N? Where is it? Sort of. I have a drawer in my utility room that is a catch -all. Since we've only been here 6 months, I can pretty much tell you everything that is in there w/o looking.
Kitchen – Renting a house doesn't allow for much decoration. The kitchen is light wood and white. I have a few red accents in it.
Love – What is your favorite part of homemaking? Serving my family...acts of service is my love language so it seems natural to me to do stuff for them.
Mop – Y/N? Not much...I usually vacuum everything, including the kitchen and bathrooms. I mop occasionally with a wet swiffer type mop.
Nylons – Wash by hand or in the washing machine? You don't have to wash them if you never wear them. ;)
Oven – Do you use the window or open the oven to check? I always open it.
Pizza – What do you put on yours? Lately it has been salami; green, yellow, and red bell peppers; and onions.
Quiet – What do you do during the day when you get a quiet moment? Usually check emails and blogs.
Recipe card box – Y/N? No...wish I did. I have been looking for one since we arrived in England and can't find them anywhere.
Style of house – semi-detached house (like a duplex) built in 2006.
Tablecloths and napkins – Y/N? No and paper.
Under the kitchen sink – Organized or toxic wasteland? Organized.
Vacuum – How many times per week? Nearly everyday in the dining room/kitchen...seems like I have to with 2 boys. 2 or 3 x's a week in the Living room and less often upstairs.
Wash – How many loads of laundry do you do per week? 7-10??? I'm sure I do at least one a day...if not, I end up doing 2 the next day.
X’s – Do you keep a daily list of things to do that you cross off? Not on an everyday basis, but if I feel I have a lot to do in a day then I am a listmaker. It makes me happy to cross things off!
Yard – Y/N? Who does what? Ben mows and I occasionally plant things.
Zzz’s – What is your last homemaking task for the day before going to bed? Finishing the dinner dishes usually. Sometimes doing one last load of laundry and getting it hung up so that it has all night to dry.

I like this one- particularly hearing about your cooking! I forget that you have to cook all the time because of the cost of eating out! BUMMER! Anything you are particularly homesick for? (Spices? Particular dishes?)
And as for your comment about being a listmaker, let me ask you this: do you ever have a list going and then, after having completed something not written on the list, write it on the list, just so you can cross it off? (My mom does this and it cracks me up! She is the ultimate listmaker!)
Anyway, this was fun!
Blessings-
We are blessed to have a lot of people looking out for us back in the States...we have received several care packages with Lipton onion soup mix, cans of green chilies, and taco/enchilada seasonings.
As for the listmaking, yes...I definitely do that. It gives me such a sense of accomplishment to know that another thing is done! :)
