Sometimes you have these moments...

as a mom when it just really hits you how much your kiddos are really growing up. The day after the New Year, I did a lot of cleaning up...packed up the tree and decorations, found a place for all the new toys, washed all the new clothes, and I also changed out Silas' clothes to the next size. I packed up all the 3T stuff and put all the 4T stuff in his wardrobe (yes, he is a big boy!). As he was getting dressed this morning, I realized that this shirt is the one Elam wore the Christmas that Silas was born. Now he's nearly 6 1/2 and Silas is no longer a baby. What big boys I have!

So here is a pic of Silas just this morning and another of Elam wearing the shirt 3 years ago...with his week-old baby brother!

What a terrific "memory moment". Guess that's what photos are all about. I'm MOST amazed that you still have the shirt!!!! :)

Those moments definitely make you step back and take everything in. You stop and wonder, "how did they learn that?" This is definitely one of the best parts of parenthood.

So precious! Just a reminder of how precious life is and how quickly it goes by.
