Today was Silas' first day at St. Hild's nursery. He had been attending a creche (British for daycare) in the fall but we decided to switch to the nursery (= Pre-K) at Elam's school. The nursery has more of a set curriculum and, as a 3 year-old, he is entitled to go 2 1/2 hours every day. He and I both went in for a "visit" today and he will gradually stay longer each day -- until he is going from 9a-11.30a Monday-Friday. He watched a few kids from a distance but joined a group that were building a pirate ship with life-size blocks and eventually worked in the water table. I think he was a bit dissappointed that he didn't get to stay longer (especially that he didn't get to go outside).
all ready to go!

I agree! That is one cool kid (who, by the way is growing up wayyyyy to fast!
I love this picture of Silas! Very cool :) He looks much older than 3! We got the boys thank you note from Christmas this week which was very sweet and impressive that you have them doing that at such a young age!
