Elam's Toilet Training, Part 2

I know I am tired when it takes me a day and a half to process conversations I have with my kid. As I was waking up this morning I remembered part of the disclosure re: Elam's "using the restroom" incident. He had stated that he forgot there was a portable bathroom before I read the note. Then he claimed that's where he went to get into trouble???? So, during our "snuggle time" in bed this morning we really got the truth out of him -- he did just pee on the playground. He told us he lied because he was scared about getting in trouble. It was a perfect time to show him that his lying is a much bigger issue (especially since Ben asked him point blank if he had peed on the ground) than the incident itself.
