Thank You Jesus

A big Thank You Jesus... We got two offers on our house on the same day. The first was ok--the typical low-ball offer--but the second (who knew we had another) was only $500 less than our asking price. Obviously, the second is the one we took. We had a couple of minor counter offer items which have been verbally agreed to and the final contract should be signed in the morning. The close is set for June 29, so we'll have to figure out housing for a month, but that's not a big issue since our goal is to sell everything anyway.

A second that we also heard back on today is the progress on the rental in Durham. Our contact there--who has been super helpful for me only meeting him for 45 minutes on my trip there--checked out 3 places for us to rent. A couple look like they could work, so we'll enquire further with the real estate agent to see if either could be held until August. The market seems good enough that if these don't work out there are several others we could look into.
