Elam's Toilet Training

We received the following note yesterday:

"To Elam Blackwell's parents: Today, during PE, Elam sat in time out because he used the restroom outside on the playground. This is unacceptable behavior and will result in a referral to the principal if this happens again."

I thought his country instincts were coming out and that he just went on the ground. But it turns out that there are outdoor bathrooms that his teacher tells them to go to, so he thought he could do it with the PE teacher as well. The note seems a little overboard, so it's hard to get upset with this stuff.
