Visa Headache

We came home from our church HomeTeam meeting hoping to get our UK Visa paperwork filled out and sent in tomorrow. Ben knew we had to have another set of passport photos for each of us so we had already taken care of that. We go through the whole process of applying on-line to find out then you have to print out a hardcopy and send it in with all sorts of documentation -- current and old passports, birth certs, marriage cert, all your financial statements from the past 3 months, letter from your employer, letter from your school re: acceptance and scholarship (if you are a student) -- Crazy!!! Plus you have to pay $162/person (though the kids are free). Guess the Brits don't want us coming over to mooch off of their system w/o good reason!
